CAMERA MOVEMENT
By: Charles Sexton

Star Wars "A New Hope"
Director: George Lucas
Director of Photography: Gilbert Taylor
Year: 1977
Content: Princess Leia is in need of rescuing as Darth Vader is in pursuit. Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight and with the help of some wookies and Droids they try to stop the Empire.
Form: This opening scene you can see the camera tilt into view of the planet and the two galactic spaceships. The camera is done with just tilting the camera down into view. THis is a common intro with Star Wars. it covertly tricks the viewer into thinking nothing dramatic is happening, but then all the sudden Princess Leia ship comes flying into view as it is being chased by Darth Vaders.

Jason Bourne Ultimatum
Director: Paul Greengrass
Director of Photography: Oliver Wood
Year: 2007
Content: Jason Bourne searches for his origins as an agent while trying to outrun a CIA official and his agents sent to assassinate
Form: Jason is jumping through a window here ins slow motion. THe camera shot it a jib shot where the camera is lowered as he flies into the window.  The slightly off centered angle makes the shot look even better. The camera is above the jumper in the shot and is lowered as he jumps to make the viewer feel like they are jumping with him.

007 Spectre
Director: Sam Mendes
Director of Photography: Hoyte van Hoytema
Year: 2015
Content: Bond uncovers an organization full of killers while M keeps the sercet service alive and running.
Form: The camera follows a couple (Bond and his women at that time) while they are following an individual at this festival. The tracking scene is shot on a steadicam following Bond through the streets and houses. This is done so that the viewers feel like they are following Bond while he follows the man of interest at that time. It immerses you into the scene without you knowing.

DJI
Director: DJI
Director of Photography: DJI
Year: 2018
Content: An arrangement of footage shot on the new DJI Mavic Air shot multiple camera users and compiled by DJI.
Form: The DJI Mavic Air drone was used to get landscape shots of different scenes.

James Bond "Skyfall"
Director: Sam Mendes
Director of Photography: Roger Deakins
Year: 2012
Content: A hard drive that has a list of agents names and M's past on it, James Bond must retrieve it and prevent the leaking of information on the agency.
Form:  This part of the film is partly shot with one propellered drones. This allows for the camera travel alongside the bike chase through the rooftops of Turkey.
