This week's assignment asks you to find an example and embeds video clip for MOTIVATED camera movement of the following type:
1. pan or tilt shot (camera is on a tripod)
2. jib/camera crane shot
3. handheld camera or steadicam shot
4. drone / bird's eye (flying camera shot)
5. wild card
You can use ANY type of media content: sports, news, game shows, award shows, sitcoms, narrative features, music videos, commercials, etc... just find INNOVATIVE ways directors decide to move the camera and try to figure out why and how.
Your post should include: context (Dir, DP, year), content (logline or short synopsis) and explain form (what is motivating the camera movement, the gear to move the camera if you can identify it, and what's it's relationship to the story being told).
Here's the catch. NO REPEAT CLIPS! You need to look at what others have posted and if someone has "your" same clip, you need to find another one... tricky, tricky... but you can do it! Post early!
