JCM MEDIA DAY: Portfolio Tip Session [RECAP]

PORTFOLIO TIPS:

• Think about audience - research your target companies/stations/markets, speak to them
• Clean, aesthetic design
• Keep it current and updated
• Include only your best work

Recommended Categories:
1. About Me / Bio - well written, clear with style in line with your creative aesthetic

2. Work Samples - clips, reel, samples (1 min sizzle reel for videographer), remember differences in on-camera reels, work sample clips, editor's reel and director's reel

3. Resume - pdf only and please don’t include your home address!

4. Contact page - include a form, email and/or social media links & make sure they work
